First, it is only 27 minutes from his Corporate Offices in South Windsor , Connecticut

WEST POINT GRADUATE and died
at the Battle of Wilson's Creek near

His body was found on the battlefield a day or two later
and his body was shipped back to Connecticut
to lie in State in Hartford.
Later, brought to Willimantic by Train...and then
brought back to Eastford...where about 10-15,000
people were waiting to pay respectful
tribute to their War Hero.
His past home was in what is known as the Natchaug
Forest...and now only the chimney remains.

"I met Gregg, over 25 years ago
when I saw a PIANO LESSON sign on his property in South Windsor, Connecticut and though I had driven by it many times it hadn't really registered
with me until I spoke with some friends from South Windsor and indicated to them that I was interested in "getting back to Piano" and the lessons I had
taken as a child in Newington, Connecticut where I had grown up. They mentioned Gregg as a possible Piano teacher so I gave him a call.
After just a few Piano Lessons, I knew that this was someone
very special and very different. He is a rare and a wonderful teacher that has a way of showing difficult ideas and concepts in a unique and interesting
manner. Gentle with 6 year old children and respectful of senior citizens. Everyone liked him. So, did I. Instantly...as he put me very at ease.
After dating for about a year, I asked him to marry me and he put me off. I, myself, am also a director personality and this was not my idea of fun.
But, good things ARE worth waiting for in this life.
We were married and built a home and life together.
Gregg assisted me with my career along the way and because of his gentle coaching and business insights brought me up from a Labor Relations
position at the I.R.S in Hartford, to the Northeast Regional Director of Human Resources for the F.D.I.C. in E. Hartford, to my current position that I now
hold as the Senior Human Resource Manager at Corporate in Farmington, Connecticut for
Global Operations and Propulsion Aerospace Systems for the United Technologies Corporation, a top 40 Fortune Company.
Because of HIS decisions and influence, I was able to acquire my Master's Degree In Human Resource Management from
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute headquartered in Troy, New York. A Summa Cum Laude graduate with a perfect 4.0 average because
of Gregg's enormous support. This led to career advancement.
To live with Gregg is a challenge. He is focused and DRIVEN!
He has an extremely high I.Q. that is probably about 152, and he can read 950 words a minute with 95% comprehension. He composes beautiful music
and lyrics in his head. I only see him approach the Piano with his finished or nearly finished compositions AFTER they are done in his head. He knows
exactly how they will sound before he goes to the Piano. It is an incredible thing to watch on a daily basis. I have heard of it before, but never been this
close to someone that can do it the way that he does. They asy that Salieri wanted to steal Mozart's ideas but the maid could find no scraps of paper of
discarded ideas as Mozart did it all in his head. Gregg is the same way. He is a non compromising composer, real estate entrepreneur, with a memory
that I have never seen before in my life. One minute he is buying Lake Front Lots with OWNER FINANCING with $100 down and the next a rare 1928
BABE RUTH baseball card. It is an exciting life. I am proud to walk this walk with Gregg. Many of his ideas, I feel can't be done. Then he will smile at me,
shake his head and say, "IMPOSSIBLE? MEANS, I 'M Possible! ". And I will say to myself. "Oh, no. here we go again! " He becomes demonically
possessed and won't stop until he proves to me that he can do it. The Lake lots above are what I am talking about. The 225 MPH Cadillac, the rare 64
Malibu, all of it. But, it has become a fast walk of a life and I knew it going in! It is NEVER boring and I do like my life that way.

Sometimes lives crisscross and we never know it.
My family hails from Ansonia, Ct and it turns out that Gregg's also came to Hartford from that area after coming to this country.
Both of our families left Ansonia and the mills to find a better life in Hartford.
Gregg's grandmother worked at Pratt and Whitney during the war, I work there now. Gregg's mother worked at the old Hartford Post Office on High
Street in Hartford, later converted to the I.R.S. where I had my first job. Both Gregg and I took Dance and Piano lessons as children.
His grandmother owned a two family in the South end of Hartford on the corner of Mapleton and Broad Street just below Fairfield Avenue, just below
where my parents lived before I was born with my older sister. They were VERY ACTIVE in the Baptist Memorial church that was almost just across
from their apartment. When Gregg's mom passed he was able to look through her old pictures and the newspaper clippings she had saved, and Gregg's
grandmother was listed as having been a member of the same church..Baptist Memorial. It was also revealed that Gregg's father was wrong and that his
mother was right, as he did have relatives in Ansonia, Ct...as his grandmother's obituary revealed one of her sisters was still alive and living in Ansonia,
Ct. As a child, my parents brought me to a dentist in West Hartford, called Sam MoffEtt, a relative of Gregg, which is the real spelling to Gregg's last
name that his grandmother changed. Gregg's father also disagreed with Gregg about this fact until he applied for social security and got the shock of his
life, as he was listed as MoffEtt. I left Newington and moved to Ellington , Ct after college and my condominium, was just up the street from his home
and I passed his home going to and coming home from work in Hartford at the IRS. His brother had been a patient at the Newington Crippled Children's
home when he was a child. I was a helper at that facility while in school. My mother worked as a Manager at Aetna in the Keypunch Division something
Gregg learned at Computer school. Mom worked just up the street from where Gregg took Dance lessons every Saturday morning on Farmington
Avenue at Ryan's Dance Academy. His father and my dad share the same birthday in December. Sometimes, it is just meant to be.
One day while out traveling with Gregg he wanted to take me to an old Lake that he and his parents often went to on the weekends in the summer
called Lake Terramuggus in Marlborough, Ct. He wanted to show me the size of the Lake that his brother had swum across and BACK when he was
just a young kid. It was the OFF SEASON so we parked our car and walked down to the beach and there was MY SISTER standing by the water.
Only two other people could be seen on the whole beach. She turned and was shocked we had found her there, and when questioned she said,
"Oh, I come here ALL the time! " I never knew that about my sister until that day.
Fate is a strange commodity.
God does work in strange ways.

|In my pursuit to redo all of GEMCOM Corporate, I ripped off the wall-tex wallpaper today in one
of the upstairs full bathrooms. I am now painting the ceiling several coats of white, replacing the
exhaust fan system, bathroom light fixtures, sanding the walls, re-taping the ceiling edges and
painting the bathroom a nice lighter green.
After this, I will go after the other 1 1/2 baths. Doing the same jobs throughout the GEMCOM as
I have also replaced all door handles, strikers and plates thoughout GEMCOM. Next , I will
replace all door hinges with new GOLD colored hinges. All electrical switches for lights and all
outlets are being replaced.
This is a total make-over inside...and then outside over the next year. GEMCOM Corporate will
be new....carpets, appliances, all of it.
With all that I am doing you would ASSUME that GEMCOM is in deplorable shape and yet, it
isn't at all in anything but GOOD SHAPE, but I want it in excellent shape and looking NEW
throughout as if it was just built and finished.

I have acquired one of the best Rag-Time Piano Players (with a wonderful background in
Classical Piano) in the USA as my personal teacher of Rag-Time and the Classics.
Dr. Cory Hall, was trained by David Burge - B.M., M.M. from Northwestern with a
Doctorate from the the Eastman School of Music. Mr. David Burge also studied at the
Cherubini Conservatory in Florence, Italy as a Fulbright Scholar. David Burge later
returned to the Eastman School of Music and took up residence for years as the past
Piano Chair at the Eastman School of Music in New York.
Dr. Cory Hall also studied with
Richard Reber who studied with the famous Cecile Genhart of the Eastman School of
Music, and with Frank Mannheimer who had studied in Berlin with Leonard Kreutzer
and Artur Schnabel and later in London with Tobias Matthay (teacher of Dame Myra

YOU MIGHT get your boat into a spot at the boat launch run by the WATER COMPANY. IF NOT...you don't go

UNION! 30 day closing and no costs! When I refinanced I took out some money for some improvements in that new loan....and put some aside for another purchase that was on my
MIND! $167,000 only owed now...not $485,000! + $150,000 more--you do the math, you are smarter than this bear, boo! This is nice...a very good start!
Then I went looking...because you know ME by now....roflmao.. and voila...

so , when they reduced the price...to $59,000...I hit with...an offer...faster than hitting the button on the FAMILY FEUD!
$59,000....with OWNER FINANCING at 0% for 60 months...NO PRE PAYMENT PENALTY. FUNNY STUFF! There was a minor easement on the property and I had the owners and their
attorney get it removed. DONE! Now, I had a house...which would be more convenient to SHOPPING...in SOUTH WINDSOR...BUCKLAND HILLS MALL>>>EVERGREEN WALK...all of
it..and I STILL HAD...a hideout far EAST OF HARTFORD...where the cows...steers...and the antelope play! A NATIONAL FOREST SURROUNDS ME! Remember , that I took out a few
dollars when I refinanced.....VOILA...part of the down payment on the land. $59,000 owed...became $44,000 at the closing....payment...$400
a month for 60 months. Wait a minute ...this kid isn't done....in OCTOBER, I get early SOCIAL SECURITY...so that payment is more than taken care of for daddy!
Of course, I did all of this knowing Val had gotten a nice raise with a 15% annual bonus opportunity. So, risk was well measured! We are...sometimes..conservative!
Taxes on the land...Yes...$1,200 a year...big woof! Plus about $400 a year ASSOCIATION FEE because this is a PRIVATE COMMUNITY...with
TWO PRIVATE BEACHES that I have RIGHTS TO USE as a RESIDENT....plus any beach I put on my own LAKE FRONT LOTS or DOCK WITH A SUNNING PLATFORM. Now, nobody can
keep me from putting my boat on my own property.. MY POOL IS NOW ...57 ACRES WIDE! WITH FISHIES. WIDE MOUTH BASS!
TWO PRIVATE BEACHES...SAND FOR DADDY...27 minutes away...NO ROUTE #2 summer driving madness! Choked by traffic at a dead stop!
IT GETS BETTER...so now...everytime I make a payment on this land...$400 GOES DIRECTLY TO PRINCIPAL! EVERY CENT! This land will be paid off in 36 months!...not 60...
TOTAL owed....1st house about $162,000 now...with $44,000 owed on the land....total equals...$206,000...I have a lot more than that in collectibles in BANKS!
$485,000 was owed. on the first house plus $150,000 for the second home = ..now only...$202,000 Outstanding debt...reduced by 2/3's++!
TOTAL diversified over TWO PROPERTIES in different towns. I like diversification...first rule of investing.
NO CHLORINE EXPENSES.....well, it is a wash...because I pay the yearly road maintenance / Association fees...but I don't do the labor anymore!
Nice way to retire!
REMEMBER THAT BIG FUEL BILL...and tenants in the rented house...FORGET IT...GONZO! No more tenants!
I put a new HIGH EFFICIENCY ..97%!!!! TANKLESS WATER HEATER in this home...and voila....winter expense...about $120 a month..and that is GAS FOR COOKING TOO!
NOT...$1,450+++..a MONTH! at that other LAKE HOUSE. ...at least in the winter months...SAVINGS ALL OVER THE PLACE>..LESS TO COOL....
I HAD ONE STOVE in the BIG HOUSE and 1 FRIDGE..and 1 MICROWAVE and 1 DISHWASHER....now I HAVE TWO OF EVERYTHING!
When I add thermal windows and more insulation...even bigger savings.
I CAN SWIM WHENEVER I WANT! BOAT ANYTIME I WANT UNDER THE STARS!
DEVELOP THE LAND...and it goes WAY UP IN VALUE!!! REMEMBER>>>THIS IS LAKE>>>FRONT! I did say...that I will own it clear in 36 months...so....who knows!
That has already happened with the removal of the EASEMENT.
Now , at that time I HAVE OPTIONS....ALREADY THINKING.
SELL THE LAND>>>WITH NO EASEMENT...and take the cash and BUY a home that already exists on a different lot...putting 100K down! NOT BAD!
Put a house on it....Chalet...Falling Water style...or an A Frame...probably a MODULAR HOME...because they come with 6" of insulation and thicker walls
as required for shipping on the highways....whatever....and the value goes ..way up! ( modulars use 2" X 6" construction and are stronger!)
GO ON VACATION.....NO DIRTY POOL TO CLEAN WHEN YOU GET HOME....
NO LINER TO REPLACE..NO POOL TO REPLACE>>>>NO GUYS COMING TO PUT ON THE WINTER COVER>>>REMOVE THE WINTER COVER. NONE OF IT!
SPRING FED LAKE....CRYSTAL CLEAR...up to your neck...look down...and see the wrinkles on U TOES! It is SWEET<..... BABY JAMES!
THEY SAW ME SELL THAT LAKE HOUSE AND CHUCKLED, but, ....it is MY BEACH , NOW!

UNIMPROVED LAND IS ALREADY COVERED UNDER MY CURRENT HOMEOWNER'S POLICY...so, UNTIL...and IF...and WHEN...I put a building
on that property...the insurance is more than ample...and...FREE! WAIT A MINUTE>>>BIG SMILE. ;))..there...lol.
Oh, I did allow myself ONE EXTRAVAGANCE....I call it my...ahem..."FINDERS FEE" for all of this financial prowess and advice....

I am right on his heels with 640 H.P.! Mine has a top end speed of about 225 M.P.H. and that should be fast enough to get ME to the
supermarket before the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies or the rotisserie chickens are all gone!
